Shamrock Shuffle
What is the Shamrock Shuffle? The Shamrock Shuffle is a walk-a-thon to earn money for our school. It is our one big fundraiser for the year and funds all of PTO’s programs and events.
How are donation dollars spent?Donation dollars go right back into SSES classrooms and are used for teacher wish lists and grants, staff and student hospitality, field trips, family event nights and much more.
Can families come to watch?Unfortunately not this year. Due to our district’s guidelines we cannot allow visitors.

Who participates in the Shuffle? All students will walk or run for 20 minutes with their class.
Who provides the Shuffle T-Shirts?The SSES PTO provides every student with a Shamrock Shuffle t-shirt. Shirts will be sent home with students by 10/7 and we’d like everyone to wear them on 10/8 for our walk/run.
Is collecting donations required? All students, staff, and SSES families can collect donations and it is completely optional.
Is help needed that day?A limited number of volunteers can help take a class picture, cheer on students, and prepare the after run snack and water. All volunteers must have a safe visitor on file and sign up prior to the event.

When and where is the Shuffle? The Shamrock Shuffle is on Friday, October 8th during the school day and takes place on the SSES Nature Center tracks. Each grade level will have a designated time.
Is my donation tax deductible?Yes, SSES PTO is a 503c. Federal ID # 35-193380
How do I donate and when's it due?You can donate online now or you may send a check to school with your child made out to SSES PTO. Our fundraising drive ends on 10/13, but we happily accept donations at any time.
